Social Media Video Editor & Designer: Creative/AI/VFX Content (YouTube, IG, Patreon)

MDMZ is a YouTube channel (300k+ subscribers) covering VFX, AI tools, filmmaking, and creative technology. I'm looking for a part-time creative to work with me long-term on a stable monthly retainer in direct collaboration with me. The content covers everything creative from image editing to 3D scanning using drones.

What you'll work on:

• Editing engaging short-form content (mini-tutorials, Behind-the-scenes, Breakdowns)
• Repurposing content into social media and Patreon posts (carousels, stories, etc...)
• Designing covers for Instagram Reels and thumbnails for YouTube Shorts
• Other Occasional tasks include: Editing Youtube video segments.
• And more depending on your skill and time.

You should have:

• Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, FinalCut, or DaVinci)
• Solid Photoshop or Other professional design tool skills for thumbnails, covers, and social graphics
• Genuine interest in AI creative tools (ComfyUI, Runway, Midjourney, etc.) — or real willingness to learn; a big portion of my content is about this
• Good English comprehension and reliable communication

Details:

• ~20 hours/week, flexible schedule, fully remote
• Fixed monthly rate, paid reliably every month
• Start date: October/November 2026: I'm interviewing now and will run a paid test project with top candidates closer to the start
• Long-term role: hours and pay grow as the content grows
