German-Speaking Specialist

About the Role

We’re a growing e-commerce company targeting the German market and are looking for a fluent German speaker based in the Philippines to support our marketing team.

Your main role will be to help make our marketing content feel natural, conversational, and culturally relevant to German customers — not like direct translations from English.

What You’ll Do

Translate and localize marketing content from English to German
Review and improve German copy for naturalness and accuracy
Adapt ads, email s, product pages, and other marketing materials
Provide feedback on messaging and what resonates with German customers
Work closely with our Philippines-based marketing team

Requirements

Fluent/native-level German
Strong English communication skills
Based in the Philippines
Excellent written German
Strong understanding of German culture and conversational language
Good communication and attention to detail
Marketing, copywriting, translation, or e-commerce experience is a plus

Important: We’re not looking for someone who simply translates word-for-word. We need someone who can make content feel like it was originally written for a German audience.

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed based on experience and whether you choose a full-time or part-time setup.
