Video Editor
Confidential employer
We're hiring an experienced Video Editor who can take raw footage and turn it into finished, publish-ready videos — start to finish, with minimal hand-holding. This role covers a mix of product tutorials, short-form ads and reels, and longer YouTube content for a growing e-commerce brand.
Responsibilities:
- Edit raw multicam footage (sometimes with a pre-written script and AI voiceover already placed) into a finished, usable video
- Edit across multiple formats: step-by-step product tutorials, short-form ads/reels, and longer YouTube videos — each with different pacing needs
- Add music, sound design, captions, graphics, and pacing choices suited to each platform
- Join periodic review calls to walk through cuts and incorporate feedback
- Manage your own schedule the rest of the time — no fixed hours, just reliable turnaround
Requirements:
- Proven experience editing finished videos from raw footage, not just assembling pre-cut clips
- Comfortable with both short-form (Reels/TikTok-style) and longer tutorial/YouTube pacing
- Strong sense of pacing and timing
- Any editing software is fine (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.) — we care about the outcome, not the tool
- Self-directed and reliable
Nice to Have:
- Experience editing craft, DIY, or tutorial-style content
- Experience with short-form ad editing for e-commerce brands
- Basic motion graphics/text animation skills
What We Offer:
Competitive pay, long-term stable position, supportive team, training and growth opportunities. Paid 90-day trial period with opportunity to move into a long-term full-time role after.
How to Apply:
Serious applicants only. Please apply using this form: ---------- — it will ask you to submit 1-2 before/after examples (raw footage alongside your finished edit) and a short video of yourself talking through your editing process.
