Australian Tax Accountant (Permanent Position / WFH)

Role Description

Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFs.
Handle the end-to-end process for BAS, IAS, and FBT returns..
Handle the processing and reconciliation of complex tax matters, capital gains, depreciation, Division 7A, UPE, rental schedules, etc.
Complete compliance through work papers.
Perform bookkeeping and payroll tasks.
Collaborate with our Australian team to resolve queries and refine review points.
Manage personal workflow and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Have a minimum of 3-5 years in Australian Taxation Accounting experience and must be an expert with ATO rulings.
Experience working in an Australian Public Accounting Firm with tax knowledge.
Be willing to look after groups of small to medium enterprises (SME) business clients.
Be CPA or CA qualified or working towards the accreditation.
Have advanced knowledge of Xero (Blue & Green – Tax), Handi products (especially HandiLedger), Reckon, MYOB & Quick Books software.
Be focused in creating positive business relationships and rapport with clients as well as possess excellent client advisory skills.
Be able to work independently but be part of a small dynamic team.
Outstanding reconciliation & analytical skills.
A result-orientated accountant who will be responsible for all aspects of taxation & accounting requirements of the client.
Required to carry out the full taxation functions for a diverse client base.
Handle a portfolio of clients.
Assist with the management and implementation of a variety of taxation processes and procedures.

Must have Computer/ Laptop for work with 2 Monitors
Webcam & Headset
Processor - Intel i3 or equivalent RAM - 4GB
Windows 10Pro or 11 with Anti-Virus installed.
No personal data, gaming application and etc. installed.
20-30mbps stable internet connection with backup.

Remuneration:
10 Vacation Leave and 10 Sick Leave (eligible after 3 months probationary period, but leaves to be accrued will be calculated retroactively).
Pro rata 13th month pay (eligible only after 3 months probationary period; if in an unforeseen situation where you leave the company earlier than 3 months, this will be forgone).
Permanent Work from Home.
Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM (Weekends: Day off)
