Australian Bookkeeper / Accountant – Simpro Specialist

We are an established Australian electrical and solar company looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant with strong Simpro experience.

This is a long-term position for the right person.

Key responsibilities:

• Daily bookkeeping and account reconciliation
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Supplier invoice processing and reconciliation
• Customer payments and debtor management
• Bank and credit card reconciliation
• Simpro set up
• Job costing and profitability reporting
• Purchase orders and supplier accounts
• Payroll assistance
• Preparing financial reports for management
• Working with our Australian accountant
• Identifying accounting discrepancies and improving our financial processes

Essential requirements:

• Strong previous experience using Simpro
• Experience working with an Australian business
• Strong bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Excellent Excel skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Reliable internet and professional home-office setup
