Position: Compliance Coordinator (path to Compliance-Ops Lead)
Work Setup: Full-time, Remote
Pay: $960–$1,120/month (based on 160 hours/month), depending on experience. Strong leadership or licensed-nurse candidates at the top of the range.
About the Role:
SLB In-Home Care is looking for a Compliance Coordinator to help protect and grow our home nursing services for children. This role does two things:
(1) keeps us audit-ready and clawback-free (credentials, chart audits, HIPAA, payer requirements), and
(2) helps make sure our clinical documentation is strong enough that every child gets the full nursing hours they qualify for.
You do not need to know our specific program—we provide training. This position has a direct path to Compliance-Ops Lead, coordinating a small team.
Responsibilities
- Review and audit clinical charts and records
- Review RN assessments and Plans of Care for thoroughness and accuracy, so every child receives the full nursing hours they qualify for
- Monitor staff credentials and compliance requirements
- Assist with HIPAA and payer compliance
- Follow up on i ---------- and documentation issues
- Identify compliance or documentation errors
- Help maintain accurate and complete records
- Coordinate and support a small internal team (intake, documentation, scheduling)
- Support the agency's overall compliance processes
- Work closely with the team and take coaching as needed

Requirements:
Must have:
- Real healthcare compliance experience
- Strong clinical understanding and ability to review patient charts
- Experience with chart audits, healthcare records, credentials, HIPAA, or payer requirements
- Ability to learn quickly and take direction
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Licensed nurse (USRN or PHRN)
- Experience as a team lead, coordinator, case manager, or trainer
- Healthcare leadership experience
- Interested in growing into a leadership role — this position has a direct path to Compliance-Ops Lead
Bonus:
- Medical billing experience
- Payroll experience
- Medical coding/CPC certification
Important
