Mobile and Web App Engineering Manager — Philippines (Remote)

We are looking for an Engineering Manager based in the Philippines to lead a team of approximately five developers. This role combines people management, project execution, and technical leadership. You will work closely with the CTO to keep engineering work organized, on track, and aligned with company priorities.

Our core stack includes MongoDB, TypeScript, and Node.js. You do not need to be the top hands-on coder on the team, but you should be technically strong enough to guide engineers, review approaches, help break down work, and provide clear technical direction.

Responsibilities include day-to-day project management, planning and estimating engineering work, tracking progress against deadlines, identifying risks early, and communicating clearly when work is off track. You will follow up with engineers to make sure tasks are moving forward, help remove blockers, support accountability, and maintain a high standard of execution. You will also mentor developers, improve team coordination, and help create a strong, reliable engineering culture.

The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, proactive, and comfortable managing both technical and operational aspects of a small engineering team. Experience leading developers in a fast-moving environment is important.

You will report directly to the CTO.
