AI Animator - Short Vertical Promo Videos ($3/video)

Most animation work hands you a finished script and asks you to execute it. This hands you a product and asks what you would make of it.

WHO WE ARE

Shadow builds developer tools. Our product is a plug-in for Claude Code that assembles a crypto copy-trading bot on Solana for the person who buys it, in a repository they own and control. We sell directly to developers and market primarily through short-form vertical video.

We are hiring animators on a per-video basis to produce that video.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You own the creative from concept to delivery. You d ---------- the angle, write the script, and build the video. We supply product screenshots, screen recordings, a live demo, and a fact sheet on how the product works.

Responsibilities:

• Produce vertical animated videos, 20 to 45 seconds, 1080x1920 MP4, captioned
• Develop your own concept and script for each brief
• Deliver two videos per day once a working rhythm is established
• Turn each brief around within 24 hours
• Incorporate one round of revision feedback per video
• Confirm your concept with us in one line before production begins

WHO YOU ARE

You are a working animator, comfortable owning a piece end to end, who does not need a script handed to you.

Minimum requirements:

• Demonstrated experience producing short-form vertical animation
• Fluent written and spoken English, including the ability to write natural voiceover copy
• Your own tooling and subscriptions - Veo, Kling, Runway, Sora, Higgsfield, After Effects, Blender, CapCut, or equivalent
• Capacity to deliver consistently on a 24-hour turnaround
• A 20 to 30 second sample of your own animation work

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with software, SaaS, or fintech subject matter
• Comfort working from raw product footage rather than a storyboard
• A record of sustained output for a single client

CONTENT STANDARDS

Shadow is finance-adjacent, so anything you put in a video becomes our claim the moment it is published. Real footage is welcome, including live dashboards and actual trades, and we can supply ours. Invented results are not.

• No fabricated balances, mocked-up profit screens, or invented performance figures
• No promises or guarantees of return, and no financial advice
• No implied endorsement by Anthropic
• Any video showing results identifies whose they are, discloses that it is a paid promotion, and carries the line "Results are not guaranteed"

Confirm your concept with us in one line before you build. We approve or redirect the same day, so no work goes to waste.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

Fully remote and project-based. Videos are published on our own accounts, and we hold usage rights to the work we approve. There is no fixed schedule beyond the agreed daily volume and the 24-hour turnaround.

PAY

$3 USD per approved video, inclusive of one revision round. Paid weekly by PayPal, Wise, or GCash. We review the rate together after ten approved videos, and animators who deliver consistently get first claim on new work.

HOW TO APPLY

Include one sample with your application: a 20 to 30 second vertical animated video you made yourself. Existing work only - please do not produce anything new for this application. Tell us which tools you used and which parts you executed yourself.
