3D / Game Dev with Next.js + Supabase Skills — Fencing SaaS Build-Out
Confidential employer
UPDATE: I'm reposting this job after speaking with a web developer who looked at what I'd built and told me this is out scope from my earlier post — he said it sits more in the game developer or engineering realm because of the 3D modelling and measurement-driven logic. He suggested someone with Unity, Three.js, or 3D web rendering experience would be a much better fit. So I'm casting the net wider.
I run a fencing business in Australia. I've built a custom ERP and trade portal on Next.js + Supabase + Vercel. The trade portal is being spun out into its own standalone SaaS — a quoting and job management app for fencing contractors, offered on a subscription basis.
What makes this different from a normal web app: it includes 3D fence visualisation, measurement-driven calculations, and BOM generation from spatial inputs. It's not a brochure site — it's closer to an engineering tool that happens to live in a browser.
Full-time, minimum 3 weeks, strong potential to continue ongoing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build features on the existing Next.js + Supabase trade portal
- Work on the 3D rendering / measurement logic
- Split the portal into its own deployable SaaS app
- Set up multi-tenant architecture and Stripe subscriptions
- Harden auth, RLS policies, and deployment
YOU'RE PROBABLY THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU HAVE
- Three.js or React Three Fiber experience (web-based 3D)
- OR a game dev / Unity background and you're comfortable in web stacks
- OR an engineering background with strong geometry/maths and web skills
- AND solid Next.js + Supabase + TypeScript experience
- GitHub pull request workflow
