About Us
Hong Kong Market is a Las Vegas-based wholesale food distributor. We supply 200+ restaurants and most of the major casino resorts on the Strip. We prioritize people, strive to do the right thing, believe in the power of teamwork, foster a culture of greatness, and embrace the mindset that we're never done improving.

Job Description
You start as an ORDER PROCESSOR. Our restaurant and casino customers send in orders by email , text and spreadsheet all night. You enter them accurately, match what they asked for to the right item codes, and get them into QuickBooks so the warehouse can pick them in the morning. This is the part of the job you will do from day one, and it is where you learn our products, our customers and our system.

As you learn the catalog, you grow into the PRICING side. Every week and every month the casinos we supply send us bid sheets — long spreadsheets of item codes where we quote the price we will hold for them. You will help prepare those: checking our cost and margin on every line and flagging the items that need a price change. We will train you, and we want someone who wants to grow into it.

Either way, this is a numbers job. You will be in Excel and Google Sheets, and you need to be the kind of person who notices when a number looks wrong.

Key Responsibilities
From day one — order processing:
Enter customer orders accurately into QuickBooks from email , text and spreadsheets
Match what the customer wrote to the correct item code, unit and quantity
Check orders for missing, unclear or unusual lines and ask before guessing
Keep the order inbox clean so nothing sits unprocessed
Pull and clean pricing, purchase history and inventory reports out of QuickBooks and Excel

At the same time — bid and pricing support:
Help prepare weekly and monthly casino bid sheets on deadline
Compare our cost vs. bid price on every line and be aware of margin
Flag items where cost has moved and a price change is needed; follow our written pricing rules on when to raise, lower, or hold
Match customer item codes to our internal item codes and keep the crosswalk files updated
Check incoming purchase orders against the active bid price and flag mismatches
Keep the bid tracker current so we always know what is due, submitted and won
Communicate clearly in writing with our purchasing and sales team

Qualifications
1+ year in order processing, purchasing, inventory, costing, bookkeeping or a similar numbers-driven role
Fast and accurate data entry — you will be entering real orders that ship the next morning
Strong Excel / Google Sheets — comfortable with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters and formulas.
Experience with QuickBooks (or a similar accounting/inventory system) is a strong plus
Comfortable with cost, price, margin and comfortable converting different units-of-measurement
Familiar with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude / Claude Code, and able to use them to speed up spreadsheet work, clean up data and draft email s
Good written English
Reliable internet, minimum 25 Mbps
PC: 8GB RAM, dual core 2GHz or higher

Who We’re Looking For

Available during US West Coast business hours (graveyard shift in PH)
Positive attitude, coachable, flexible
Team player who is willing to grow and learn
