We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with leadership, accountants, and clients to deliver high-quality accounting services. The position combines hands-on accounting work, client advisory support, and review responsibilities to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Qualifications Required:
3+ years of U.S. experience within an accounting firm or bookkeeping firm servicing law firm clients. (Experience working within a law firm's internal accounting department will not be considered)
Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of account reconciliations and financial reporting
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Teams
Knowledgeable with CLIO (preferable)
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
Perform IOLTA reconciliations
Maintain and manage client books in QuickBooks Online
Review QuickBooks files for accurate coding, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and transaction completeness
Perform accounting clean-ups and catch-up work for clients with incomplete records
Classify transactions and complete monthly reconciliations for bank, credit card, and liability accounts
Tie out payroll liabilities and payroll-related expenses
Manage law firm trust accounting processes in compliance with firm and regulatory requirements
Law firm trust accounting experience is required
Why Join Us:
Starting salary of 90,000 Philippine pesos per month, depending on experience
Permanent work from home set-up.
Working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Pacific time
US Public Holidays observed. PHP holidays are negotiable.
