Creative VA with Podcast and Copywriting Experience

Role Overview:
I'm looking for a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented VA to be my right hand for podcast production, content, and copywriting. If you love turning a conversation into a great blog post, have a sharp eye for what makes a thumbnail or carousel actually stop the scroll, and get satisfaction from clean, well-edited audio and video, keep reading!

Requirements:
*Must have exceptional copywriting skills, with the ability to write in my voice while bringing their own expertise and insight to elevate the content
*Must have video editing experience and be comfortable using tools like Riverside and/or Descript (or similar)
*Must be able to use AI responsibly as a support tool without relying on generic AI-generated content
*Must have a strong eye for visual design and be able to create graphics in Canva
*Must have availability to work 20 hours weekly, with potential to increase if everything goes well!
*Must be able to work any 4-hour block between 9am-5pm Eastern Time (US), Monday to Friday
*Must have strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
*Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
*Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimal supervision or check-ins
*Must be comfortable sharing recommendations and suggesting improvements, while staying flexible and open to my direction
*Must have experience working with a CRM/LMS or all-in-one business platform (e.g. Kajabi, GoHighLevel, Kartra, ActiveCampaign) and must be willing to learn. Kajabi experience is a plus.
*Must be comfortable using my SOPs and templates as a starting point, with the confidence to improve on them when their expertise calls for it

What You’ll Do:

Must-Have Experience (Responsibilities You Must Be Proficient In):

These are the tasks the VA needs to handle independently and confidently from day one:

Copywriting:
*Identify the central message and key takeaways of each episode to guide all written content
*Write show notes for the podcast platforms
*Draft a more detailed blog post from each episode, using my templates and voice as a foundation
*Draft the email announcing each new episode
*Write social media captions in my voice and style
*Proofread and edit all written content for typos, grammar, and clarity

Video and Audio Production:
*Edit podcast audio and video recordings using Riverside and/or Descript (or similar tools)
*Catch and correct speaking flubs
*Manage my YouTube channel, including uploading episodes and reels
*Write YouTube titles and descriptions

Graphic Design:
*Create podcast, blog, and YouTube thumbnails
*Design social media graphics, carousels, and reel covers using Canva

Content Promotion and Distribution:
*Upload episodes through Kajabi and ensure distribution to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other platforms
*Create social media posts, carousels, and reels based on each episode
*Repurpose previous podcast episodes and unused video content into reels, clips, and social posts
*Review all episode details for accuracy before publishing

Nice-to-Have Experience (Responsibilities You Can Learn Over Time):
These tasks are valuable but can be trained on the job:
*Support visibility and PR efforts, such as pitching guest podcast spots, researching speaking opportunities, and guest blogging outreach
*Help with occasional admin tasks
*Create occasional presentation graphics (PowerPoint)
