About the Role

We are a U.S.-based home care agency seeking an experienced and dependable Weekend Care Coordinator to manage scheduling, caregiver coordination, and client communication during weekend and off-hour coverage.

This is a fully remote, long-term position working Eastern Time (ET) hours. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, calm under pressure, highly organized, responsive, and able to solve problems independently while knowing when an issue needs to be escalated.

Primary Responsibilities

Scheduling & Caregiver Coordination
-Manage caregiver schedules and assignments during assigned hours
-Respond to call-outs, no-shows, time-off requests, and urgent schedule changes
-Work quickly to secure replacement coverage when needed
-Verify caregiver clock-ins and clock-outs
-Communicate schedule changes clearly to caregivers and clients
-Maintain accurate schedules and documentation
-Follow issues through to resolution and escalate serious concerns appropriately

Client & Caregiver Communication
-Respond promptly and professionally to client, family, and caregiver calls
-Handle routine questions and concerns independently
-Provide clear, solution-focused communication
-Ensure important information is received and understood
-Document relevant conversations, concerns, and outcomes
-Intake & Administrative Support
-Answer calls from prospective clients and schedule phone assessments
-Follow up with leads by phone or email
-Create and update client, caregiver, and scheduling records
-Support intake and sales efforts during coverage hours
-Provide a clear handoff to the weekday team, including unresolved issues and follow-up needs

Work Schedule
Remote | Eastern Time

Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Sunday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Consistent weekend availability, punctuality, and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications
2–3+ years of home care coordination, scheduling, or operations experience
Experience supporting a U.S.-based home care agency
Experience managing caregiver callouts and last-minute coverage
Excellent spoken and written English
Confident, professional, and engaging phone presence
Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues through resolution
Comfortable following escalation protocols and recognizing when management involvement is needed
Experience with Wel lSky Pe rsonal Care
Stable internet connection and quiet professional work environment
