Video Editor – UGC & Direct Response Ads | Long-Term

We are looking for a Video Editor who can turn raw UGC, founder, and product footage into high-performing direct-response ads for platforms such as Meta and TikTok.

This role focuses on editing existing footage. It is different from our AI Video Editor position, where original scenes and characters are generated using AI.

We are not just looking for someone who can make videos look good. You need to understand how to capture attention, keep viewers watching, and communicate a clear marketing message.

What you’ll do

• Edit UGC, founder, and product footage into direct-response ads
• Create strong hooks that capture attention immediately
• Add captions, B-roll, graphics, music, and sound effects
• Improve pacing, storytelling, and clarity
• Create new hooks and variations of winning ads
• Work from scripts and briefs provided by our creative strategists
• Apply feedback quickly and deliver projects on time

You will see the performance results of your own work. When your ad becomes a winner, you will know—and use those insights to improve your next edits.

Who we’re looking for
You:

• Have experience editing UGC or direct-response ads
• Understand hooks, retention, pacing, and visual storytelling
• Can make an ad feel natural while keeping it engaging
• Take feedback well and make revisions quickly
• Communicate proactively when something is unclear or delayed
• Take ownership and want a long-term role

Experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software is required.

A portfolio containing relevant UGC or direct-response advertising work is required. Cinematic brand videos, reels, and montages alone are not enough.
