ABOUT US
NorthStar Delivery Solutions LLC is a licensed US motor carrier and freight brokerage based in Illinois (MC#1819020). We operate a fleet of 26ft box trucks and OTR drivers running lanes across the United States. We work with top brokers including TQL, Echo Global Logistics, Landstar, Trinity Logistics, Armstrong Transport, and PLS Logistics.

We are growing fast and need a reliable, detail-oriented Freight Dispatch VA to help manage daily operations so our owner can focus on scaling the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Monitor load boards (TQL Carrier Dashboard, DAT) daily for available loads matching our drivers' locations and equipment
• Book loads, negotiate rates with brokers, and send rate confirmations to drivers
• Perform broker check calls and update driver statuses throughout the day
• Track deliveries and follow up on PODs (Proof of Delivery) within 24 hours of delivery
• Update our operations spreadsheet daily with load details, driver pay, and status
• Communicate with drivers via text/phone about pickups, deliveries, and schedule changes
• Flag any issues (breakdowns, delays, detention) to the owner immediately
• Assist with filing paperwork and organizing rate confirmations

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in US freight dispatch, truck brokerage, or logistics operations (REQUIRED)
• Familiarity with TQL Carrier Dashboard or DAT load board (strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of US trucking terminology: RC, POD, BOL, detention, TONU, check call, accessorials
• Strong English communication — written and spoken
• Available during US business hours (Central Time preferred)
• Reliable internet connection and computer
• Detail-oriented — numbers and load details must be accurate every time
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with factoring companies
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and MC authority
• Experience dispatching OTR or box truck drivers
• Familiarity with MacroPoint or Trucker Tools for tracking

????COMPENSATION

• Part-time: $400–$500/month (4–5 hrs/day)
• Full-time: $700–$900/month (8 hrs/day)
• Performance bonuses available for high load volume weeks
• Pay via Wise or direct transfer, bi-weekly
• Start date: Immediately
