Remote Colorist, Wedding Films

Rolling Canvas is a premium South Asian wedding photography and videography studio based in Sydney, Australia. Our films are known for a natural, editorial aesthetic that prioritises emotion over flash. We are looking for a dedicated colorist to join our post production team remotely.

What you will work on

You will colour grade three types of deliverable. Highlight videos run five to seven minutes. Reels run up to one minute. Feature films run 25 to 35 minutes. All content is wedding footage shot across multiple cameras that needs matching, grading, and a consistent final look.

What we are looking for

You are a trained colorist, not a general video editor who also does colour. You have spent real time learning colour theory, camera matching and grading workflow, and you know DaVinci Resolve well. Premiere Pro experience is a bonus.

You have a portfolio of wedding or film colour work you can show us. You are available for ongoing work, not one-off gigs. You understand that a premium client expects a premium deliverable and you take quality seriously.

The style we work in

Our aesthetic is natural, warm, and desaturated. We do not do heavy stylised looks. Camera matching across multiple angles is a core part of the job. You need to be comfortable working from a style reference and reproducing it consistently across a full wedding day.

What the workflow looks like

You receive edited prores file via Dropbox. You deliver graded files within the agreed turnaround. You communicate via WhatsApp or email . You flag issues early, not after a deadline.

What we pay

We are open to per project rates or a monthly retainer depending on volume. Please include your rate and a link to your portfolio when you apply.
