Google & Meta Ads + Website + Email Australian Trades & Home Services Only
Australian home services business. Growing fast, small team, opening in a second city. You'd work directly with the owner.
You'd run the ads, make the website changes that go with them, and get our email marketing off the ground.

We only want people who have run ads for Australian service businesses. Trades, home services, or something close to it — plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pest, locksmiths, roofing, cleaning, that world.
Not e-commerce. Not US or UK accounts. Not "I've done ads for lots of industries."
We've been burned by people who understand ad platforms but don't understand this market. If you can't name Australian service businesses you've run spend for, this isn't the job.
Why the Australian part matters
You should already know:
How Australians search when something's broken and they need someone today
Suburb-level targeting in Australian cities, and why radius targeting wastes money here
Google Business Profile and the map pack in Australia — where the real volume sits for emergency work
Seasonal patterns in Australian trades — storms, heat, holiday shutdowns
What a lead is actually worth in AUD in this industry
The work
Google Ads. Take over our existing search campaigns and improve them, or start fresh if that's the better call. Keywords, negatives, ad copy testing, bid strategy. We want cost per booked job going down, not clicks going up.
Meta Ads. Nothing running right now. Build it from scratch — Business Manager, pixel, audiences, campaigns targeting homeowners in specific suburbs.
Website. Ongoing updates — landing pages for campaigns, new service and suburb pages as we expand, offer and pricing updates, fixing anything hurting conversions. Basic on-page SEO: titles, meta, internal linking.
We're handling a rebuild ourselves, but we're open to being convinced. If you think you can design and build something better, show us. Send examples.
Email marketing. We have a database of past customers sitting in our job management software doing nothing. We want it working.
Get the customer data into a proper email platform and keep it synced
Regular campaigns to past customers — seasonal offers, maintenance reminders, service promos
Automated follow-ups after a job: review requests, reminders, win-back campaigns for customers we haven't seen in a while
Grow the list with something worth downloading, not just a newsletter signup
Track what actually turns into booked jobs, not open rates
Creative direction. We have a video editor and raw job footage from the field. You tell them what you need.
Reporting. Monthly, plain English. What worked, what didn't, what changes next month.
To apply
Skip any of these and we won't reply.
Put DRAIN in your subject line.
Name two Australian service businesses you've run ads for. Industry, monthly spend, and what cost per lead was when you started vs finished. If you can't name them, describe them properly — suburb, trade, spend.
Answer this: A plumbing business in Australia is spending good money on Google Ads. Leads come in, but the owner doesn't know which ones turn into paid jobs. What's the first thing you set up, and why?
Tell us one thing you'd check first if you took over an Australian trades account you'd never seen before.
What website platforms you're comfortable working in, and one site you've made changes to. If you build sites, send examples.
What email platform you'd use for a business like ours and why. Tell us about one email campaign you've run and what it actually produced.
Your rate and your available hours in AEST.
No agencies. Individuals only.
One condition: the ad accounts, website and email platform stay in our name. You work inside our accounts, not your own
