Bookkeeper Ecommerce

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented bookkeeper with a strong background in e-commerce accounting. The ideal candidate understands the complexities of online sales, dropshipping, inventory, and deferred transactions. Exceptional written and spoken English is required.

Responsibilities

Perform monthly bookkeeping and account reconciliations
Reconcile e-commerce sales, fees, refunds, chargebacks, and deposits
Properly account for deferred and pending transactions
Record and reconcile inventory, purchases, and cost of goods sold
Understand dropshipping transactions and related vendor expenses
Reconcile sales activity from platforms such as Amazon and Shopify
Review financial data for discrepancies, duplicates, and missing transactions
Prepare accurate monthly financial reports
Assist with historical cleanups and catch-up bookkeeping
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members

Qualifications

Prior bookkeeping experience with e-commerce businesses is required
Experience accounting for dropshipping operations
Strong understanding of inventory and cost-of-goods-sold accounting
Experience handling deferred, pending, and settlement transactions
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Experience with Amazon, Shopify, PayPal, Stripe, or similar platforms and payment processors
Exceptional written and spoken English
Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
Experience with A2X is a strong plus
