Canva Product Designer

I’m looking for a highly experienced Canva designer to help me create a large number of designs for one product.

This is not a role for someone who only knows the basics of Canva. I need someone who is very comfortable with Canva, has a strong eye for design, pays attention to small details, and can independently research and make good creative decisions.

You should also know how to use Higgsfield and be comfortable using it as an additional tool to help create and improve designs.

What you’ll be doing

I will provide you with templates, examples, instructions, and explain the entire process, so you will have a clear system to follow.

The work is focused on one product, but there is a lot of room to scale the number of designs we create for it.

Your work will include:

• Creating high-quality designs in Canva using the templates I provide
• Creating many different designs and variations for the same product
• Using Higgsfield when helpful to create visual elements and support the design process
• Using Pinterest, Google, and ChatGPT specifically for design research and design decisions
• Researching visual styles, layouts, color combinations, typography, design trends, inspiration, and other relevant design elements
• Comparing different design approaches and d ---------- which direction will work best
• Finding new design ideas and directions that allow us to keep scaling the number of designs for the product
• Thinking carefully about what will make the designs visually appealing and professional
• Checking your own work and making sure every detail is correct before considering a design finished
• Improving designs based on feedback and learning our system as we work together

All research you do will be focused on making better design decisions. You will use Pinterest, Google, and ChatGPT to find inspiration, explore different visual directions, compare ideas, and determine the best design approach.

Higgsfield will also be part of the design process, so I’m looking for someone who understands how to use it effectively alongside Canva.

A complete design can take around 10 hours when done properly, depending on the work involved. Quality is much more important to me than simply finishing as quickly as possible.

Who I’m looking for

You should have a lot of experience with Canva and be able to show examples of previous work. Experience using Higgsfield is also important.

More importantly, I need someone who can think independently and take ownership of their work. I don’t want to explain every tiny design decision. I will teach you the system and show you exactly what we are creating, but I expect you to research, think, compare options, and put real effort into producing the best possible result.

This is a very important role for me.

I want someone who will treat this product as if it were their own product and their own business. That means caring about quality, doing proper design research, constantly looking for ways to improve the designs, noticing mistakes, and not taking shortcuts.

If you are looking to do the minimum amount of work possible, rush through designs, or simply wait for instructions for every small detail, please don’t apply. I don’t want to waste your time or mine.

There is the potential to create a large volume of designs for this one product, so I need someone who can maintain a high standard of quality while continuing to come up with strong design directions and variations.
