Video Editor - AI

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented AI Video Editor to join our team full-time.

Your main responsibility will be turning written creative briefs and reference videos into polished short-form advertisements using AI.

A big part of this role is being able to make AI-generated footage look realistic and natural, not obviously AI-generated.

You should also be comfortable adapting to different creative styles, including:

Realistic human / UGC-style videos
Organic social-media content
Talking-to-camera scenes
Product footage
Animated videos
Fully AI-generated scenes
Reference-based ad recreations

We will train you on our internal workflow and creative process, but you should already be comfortable using Kling and Nano Banana Pro.

Strong experience using ChatGPT to create and improve AI-generation prompts is a major advantage.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Read and understand detailed creative briefs
Study reference videos and closely match their style
Generate realistic images using Nano Banana Pro
Animate images and generate video scenes using Kling
Create realistic human movement, expressions, environments, and interactions
Make AI-generated footage look natural and believable
Adapt between realistic human footage, organic content, and animation styles
Use ChatGPT to help develop and improve prompts
Adjust prompts when results are not good enough
Regenerate scenes until they properly match the brief
Combine clips into finished short-form advertisements
Add captions, text, audio, sound effects, and basic editing where needed
Use CapCut or similar editing software for final assembly
Make revisions based on feedback
Organize files and export videos correctly
Complete assigned work every day and meet deadlines consistently
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You should already have:

Hands-on experience with Kling
Hands-on experience with Nano Banana Pro
Experience creating AI images and AI video
A strong understanding of how to make AI footage look realistic
Good visual judgment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to closely follow references
Ability to adapt to different editing and visual styles
Experience using ChatGPT or similar AI tools for prompt creation
Ability to troubleshoot weak AI generations instead of simply accepting them
Basic video-editing ability in CapCut or similar software
Good organization and file-management skills

Experience creating e-commerce ads, UGC ads, social-media content, direct-response advertising, or short-form videos is highly preferred.

RELIABILITY IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

This is one of the most important parts of the role.

Our creative team needs to produce and submit work every day.

We need someone who:

Shows up consistently
Communicates during working hours
Gives regular updates on their work
Lets the team know immediately if there is a blocker or delay
Does not disappear without communication
Finishes work by the agreed deadlines
Does not need to be constantly chased
Takes responsibility when something goes wrong

If you are going to miss a deadline, we should know before the deadline, not afterward.

One unreliable editor can delay the entire creative team, so consistency and communication matter just as much as editing skill.

AI video often requires multiple attempts before a scene looks right. You need to be comfortable regenerating and adjusting your work until it reaches the required quality.

Has never used Kling or Nano Banana Pro
Creates AI footage that obviously looks AI-generated
Struggles to create realistic human scenes
Can only work in one visual style
Skims creative briefs
Ignores reference videos
Submits the first AI generation without checking it
Refuses or dislikes revisions
Repeats the same mistakes after receiving feedback
Frequently misses deadlines
Needs constant reminders
Does not provide updates
Disappears during working hours
Gets defensive about feedback

After your first few months:

You can take a creative brief and understand what needs to be produced
Your AI footage looks realistic and believable
You can adapt between organic human videos, advertisements, and animation
You know how to use prompting to get better generations
You closely match provided references
You catch obvious AI mistakes before submitting work
You deliver work consistently every day
You communicate clearly with the team
You apply feedback without repeating the same mistakes
The team can trust you to complete your work without constantly checking on you
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
Full-time remote position
Long-term opportunity
Working hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Philippine Time
Salary: $500–$1,000 USD/month, depending on experience and ability
Salary and responsibilities can increase based on performance
