DTC Creative Strategist – Meta Ads / Direct Response
We are looking for a Creative Strategist with strong Direct Response and DTC Ecommerce experience to join our team.
This is not a social media management role.
Your main responsibility will be researching customers, competitors and markets and turning those insights into high-converting Meta ad concepts, marketing angles, hooks and creative briefs.
We sell direct-to-consumer products across international markets and test a high volume of new marketing concepts.
What You Will Do
Conduct deep customer and market research.
Research competitor brands using Meta Ads Library.
Analyse competitor ads, advertorials, landing pages and offers.
Research customer reviews, Reddit discussions, forums, social media comments and other Voice of Customer sources.
Identify customer avatars, desires, pain points, objections and buying motivations.
Identify different levels of customer awareness.
Develop new marketing angles and creative concepts.
Write strong hooks and opening lines for Meta ads.
Develop native Facebook ad concepts.
Create UGC concepts and scripts.
Create detailed creative briefs for graphic designers and video editors.
Develop concepts for static ads, native ads, UGC and advertorial-style creatives.
Ensure messaging is congruent across the Ad → Advertorial/Landing Page → Product Page.
Analyse creative performance and identify why creatives are winning or losing.
Generate iterations and variations of winning concepts.
Maintain an organised creative testing pipeline.
Present new concepts and testing recommendations regularly.

Who exactly are we targeting?
What does this customer want most?
What pain are they trying to escape?
What have they already tried?
Why didn't those solutions work?
What does the customer already know about their problem?
What is the strongest marketing angle?
What hook will stop them from scrolling?
What creative format should communicate that angle?
Why did one creative outperform another?
What should we test next?
What We Are NOT Looking For
We are not looking for someone whose main experience is:
Posting on Instagram
Managing social media calendars
Creating generic Canva posts
Community management
Influencer outreach
This is a performance creative and direct-response marketing role.
