Personal Brand Video Editor — Daily Short Clips + Weekly YouTube Videos from Recorded Sessions

We run a personal brand and need a dedicated editor turning long-form recorded sessions into daily short clips AND weekly YouTube videos.

Short clips (2-3/day): 20-150 second 9:16 clips in a raw, caption-driven style. Reference standard (study before applying): ---------- — natural speech kept intact, visible jump cuts, subtle punch-ins on emphasis, word-synced bold captions with keyword highlights, opens instantly on the hook line, ends the moment the point lands.

YouTube videos (2-3/week): 8-20 minute 16:9 edits from the same sessions — one topic per video or several related questions stitched into a themed episode. Same raw style: jump cuts on dead air, occasional punch-ins, on-screen text for key numbers only, simple chapter cards between questions, timestamps in description. Flag 2-3 freeze-frames per video for thumbnails.

Workflow: edit the YouTube video first, then pull the short clips from the same timeline.

Scope:
1. Select the strongest moments — clips open on a question or bold claim and end on a quotable line; episodes open on the best question, no intro.
2. Reframe, jump-cut dead air, punch-ins on emphasis. Do NOT over-edit — the raw feel is the style.
3. Word-synced captions on shorts (bold sans-serif, white with black outline, key words highlighted); light key-phrase text only on longform.
4. Deliver with suggested post captions (shorts) and title options + timestamps (YouTube).

We supply recordings with transcripts and a written style guide.

Requirements: Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (CapCut alone not enough for the longform work); portfolio with BOTH short-form and long-form examples (2-3 links each); sustained output of 2-3 clips/day plus 2-3 videos/week after the first two weeks; reliable internet.

Paid test task: one 20-minute recording; deliver your 2 best short clips AND a rough 5-minute longform cut within 72 hours. We judge selection as much as editing. Paid regardless of outcome.
