Part-Time Supply Chain & Quality Assurance Assistant (E-commerce, Fashion)

Hours: Starting at an estimated 1.5-2.5 hours/day, must overlap with our Customer Service Manager's shift (starts around 11:30 PM PH time / 5:30 PM Netherlands time). Hours will grow as order volume increases, and pay grows accordingly — see compensation details below.

About us:
We run two growing US-focused fashion dropship e-commerce brands (Shopify), together processing 35-50+ orders/day. The process is identical across both stores. We're looking for a detail-oriented part-time team member to handle supply chain and product quality tasks, working closely with our Customer Service team.

What you'll do:

• Review daily order status across both stores: flag delayed orders ("info received" over 4 days, "in transit" over 15 days or no tracking update for 3+ days) and follow up with suppliers
• Match customer complaints (forwarded by our CS manager) against what was actually shipped — determine if it's a fulfillment error or a product issue, and d ---------- next steps (fix / replace / discontinue)
• When a product is out of stock and the supplier only offers a similar alternative: judge whether it's close enough to ship, or whether it needs escalation (to us, or to CS to inform the customer)
• Run quality checks on products once they reach 3+ sales, and request/add size charts for those products to the product pages
• Monitor supplier pricing: flag price increases and ask suppliers why; check cost of goods vs. selling price (target under 31%, escalate anything near 33-35%)
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers when instructed

Who we're looking for:

• Strong attention to detail — this role involves judgment calls, not just data entry
• Experience working within the dropshipping industry required (e.g. as a VA, customer service agent, or supply chain assistant for a dropshipping business) — fashion dropshipping experience is a strong plus
• Comfortable communicating professionally with suppliers (email templates provided)
• Reliable, able to work independently within clear guidelines

Compensation: Starts at approximately €120/month (1.5 hrs/day), though we currently expect the workload to be closer to 2-2.5 hours/day (~€ ---------- /month). Pay grows with order volume up to ~€350/month as the role expands. Pay scales as follows:
