We are a growing U.S.-based marine services and online education company looking for an experienced Wix Website Developer & Digital Growth Manager to join our team full-time.

We currently operate a marine surveying company with multiple U.S. locations and are expanding into additional markets. We are also developing NAMVS, an online marine surveyor training and certification program.

WIX EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

Please do not apply unless you have professional experience building and managing websites using Wix or Wix Studio.

We already have established websites and a strong SEO foundation. We need someone who can take ownership of building new pages, expanding our websites, managing SEO, improving local search visibility, and supporting our digital growth.

This is a hands-on position. We need someone who can actually build and execute, not simply recommend what we should do.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage websites using Wix / Wix Studio
• Create new location and city pages as we enter new U.S. markets
• Build service pages, landing pages, and resource pages
• Expand and improve existing website content
• Perform keyword research and on-page SEO
• Manage local SEO for multiple U.S. locations
• Optimize pages for Google Search
• Manage Google Search Console
• Submit new URLs and monitor indexing
• Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles
• Improve Google Maps/local search visibility
• Create internal linking strategies
• Optimize titles, descriptions, headings, images, URLs, and schema
• Monitor keyword rankings and website performance
• Use Google Analytics and Wix Analytics
• Research competitors and identify new SEO opportunities
• Assist with Google Ads and digital marketing campaigns
• Improve website conversion and lead generation
• Work with our LMS designer to develop and grow the NAMVS training website

Required Skills

You MUST have experience with

• Wix or Wix Studio
• Website development
• SEO
• Local SEO
• Keyword research
• Google Search Console
• Google Business Profile
• Website content development
• Mobile/responsive website design
• Strong written English

Experience working with U.S. businesses and multi-location service companies is highly preferred.

Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, SEMrush, Ahrefs, schema, backlinks, and conversion optimization is a plus.

What We Are Looking For

We want a builder and problem solver.

If we tell you:

You should be able to research the market, determine what website content is needed, build the Wix pages, optimize them for search, publish them, submit them to Google, connect them with our local search strategy, and monitor their performance.

We are looking for someone who can work independently without needing a detailed daily task list.

We actively use AI tools such as ChatGPT and encourage our employees to use AI to improve productivity, research, content development, and analysis.

This Is NOT a Social Media Position

We already have another employee handling social media.
