About the Role

Moscoso Express is a 20+ year trucking company in the United States specializing in expedited and air freight. We move time-sensitive shipments across the Midwest, where clear communication, accuracy, urgency, and follow-through are essential.

We are hiring 4 Operations Support Specialists. This is a fast-paced operations role involving dispatch coordination, customer communication, shipment monitoring, data accuracy, and problem-solving. You will help coordinate drivers, customers, internal team members, and shipment details to keep freight moving on time.

Fluent spoken English is required. You will be speaking with American drivers and customers every day.

The role includes:

  • Coordinating daily freight movements to help shipments stay on schedule
  • Communicating professionally with drivers, customers, and internal team members
  • Monitoring loads and providing timely status updates
  • Checking shipment details, GPS/location information, and order notes
  • Helping resolve delays, weather issues, equipment issues, schedule changes, or pickup/delivery exceptions
  • Keeping accurate records of shipment updates, order details, and key communications
  • Working across email , spreadsheets, GPS tracking platforms, client portals, and dispatch systems
  • Escalating issues when needed with clear details and recommended next steps

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Professional, respectful, and clear when communicating with drivers, customers, and team members
  • Organized and dependable in a fast-moving environment
  • Detail-oriented and accurate with order information, shipment updates, and documentation
  • Comfortable working across email , spreadsheets, GPS tracking, client portals, and dispatch systems
  • Able to follow SOPs, checklists, and company procedures
  • Proactive while staying aligned with company processes
  • Coachable and willing to learn Moscoso Express methods
  • Able to follow up until an issue is resolved

Important expectations:
This is not a passive remote admin role. During your shift, you are expected to actively monitor shipments, respond quickly, follow up with drivers, update customers, document activity, and escalate issues when needed.

This role requires balanced judgment. We do not want someone who waits for every instruction, and we do not want someone who acts without understanding the company process. The right person is proactive, but aligned; independent, but coachable; and fast, but accurate.

Working hours:
Training runs on a fixed schedule in US Central Time. Your regular schedule is assigned during training.

  • Initial training: 2 weeks, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM US Central Time, Monday to Friday. In Philippine time this is currently 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM, Monday night through Saturday morning.
  • Ongoing training and coaching continue through your first 3 months, alongside your regular shift.
  • After initial training: we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so regular schedules vary and may include weekend hours. Your shift is set with you during training.

Please read this carefully before applying:

  • All schedules are set in US Central Time, so your Philippine local hours and days will not match ours. A US daytime shift falls overnight in the Philippines, and a US evening shift falls during Philippine daytime.
  • The 2 weeks of initial training are overnight in the Philippines.
  • Philippine times shift one hour later when US daylight saving time ends in November.

Please only apply if you can commit to the full 2 weeks of initial training and are able to work a varying schedule, including possible weekend hours, afterward.

Helpful experience:
Dispatch, logistics, trucking, freight, customer service, data entry, administrative support, or operations support. Familiarity with TMS systems, GPS tracking software, spreadsheets, email , or client portals is also helpful.

Remote work requirements:

  • Reliable internet access
  • Suitable quiet workspace for remote work
  • Working computer setup
  • Ability to work on a computer throughout the shift
  • Two or more monitors

How to apply:
Record a 1-2 minute video introducing yourself and briefly explaining why your professionalism, communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability would make you a good fit for this role. Send us the link to your video in your reply here. You can use any of these:

  • Loom ( ---------- ) - free, records you and your screen right in the browser, gives you a link instantly
  • YouTube - upload and set the video to "Unlisted"
  • Google Drive - upload and set sharing to "Anyone with the link"

Please open your link in a private/incognito window first to confirm it plays for someone outside your account. Applications without a working video link will not be reviewed.
