About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented developer to expand and maintain our website, which was built in Cursor AI and deployed through Vercel. The foundation is in place—we now need to scale aggressively by adding a blog system and building out destination content clusters.
All written content, structure, and images will be created in ChatGPT and provided fully ready for implementation. Your primary role is to build the technical structure, templates, and routing that allow us to continue adding content consistently and efficiently.
This is an ongoing role of roughly 20 hours per week with long-term potential.
You will also spend some time training me to use Cursor AI and helping me understand the workflow and codebase.

Tech Stack
The ideal candidate has strong experience with:
Next.js (App Router preferred)
Vercel deployments
GitHub version control
Cursor AI or other AI-assisted coding tools
TailwindCSS or equivalent (if applicable — we will confirm our setup)
Markdown or MDX blog systems
Basic understanding of React components, layouts, and routing

If you are familiar with building large content-driven sites, this is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
Website Expansion
Add a complete blog system to the existing site
Build destination content cluster pages using reusable templates
Create scalable routing for destinations, regions, and sub-pages
Implement content (copy + images) provided to you
Ensure clean, consistent layout across all pages
AEO + SEO Structure
Apply best practices for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
Implement schema markup & metadata
Support internal linking, content clusters, and clean URL structure
Maintain strong semantic HTML structure
Template & Component Development
Build reusable templates for:
Destination overviews
Sub-destination pages
Blog pages
Reusable content blocks (grids, CTA sections, highlights, etc.)
Performance & Stability
Ensure everything deploys cleanly through Vercel
Maintain page speed and site stability
Fix layout issues and minor bugs as needed
Training & Communication
Train me on how to:
Navigate and edit files in Cursor AI
Understand the site structure
Publish new content
Provide clear, simple explanations
Communicate progress regularly
Use GitHub commits so I can track updates

Requirements
Strong experience with Next.js and Vercel
Confident using Cursor AI or willing to learn quickly
Ability to build reusable templates and scalable site architecture
Knowledge of AEO and SEO structures
Reliable, detail-driven, and consistent
Good communication in English
Comfortable with $6.00/hour
Available ~20 hours/week with some flexibility

Experience with travel, hospitality, or content-heavy websites
Previous work with content clusters or blog ecosystems
Experience integrating AI-generated content
