Hi there!

I'm Sylvie, a creative designer based in Canada, and I'm looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to help keep my business finances organized.

I already track all of my income and expenses in a Notion spreadsheet each month. Your role would simply be to take that information and accurately enter it into QuickBooks Online, keep everything reconciled, and ensure my books stay current.

At the beginning of each month, I'd also love a simple summary of the previous month's finances with any important insights or things I should be aware of.

This is a very small ongoing role (likely only 2–3 hours each month), but I'm looking for someone reliable that I can work with long-term.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enter monthly income and expenses from my Notion tracker into QuickBooks Online
• Categorize transactions accurately
• Reconcile accounts each month
• Keep my QuickBooks file clean and up to date
• Send a monthly financial summary at the beginning of each month

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience using QuickBooks Online is required
• Experience with monthly bookkeeping for small businesses
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and spoken English
• Reliable and able to complete the work within the first few days of each month
