We’re looking for a highly experienced bookkeeper to support our Australian business with occasional, ongoing accounting tasks. This is a part-time, flexible role — ideal for someone who already has a main job and wants to earn extra on the side.

???? ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Bank Reconciliations in Xero every few weeks

IAS & BAS: Support with monthly IAS and quarterly BAS lodgements (ATO-compliant)

Monthly Invoicing: Assist with invoicing at month-end (based on project data, varies by client)

Help us improve and modernise internal number-tracking systems (Airtable or spreadsheets) . If you can do more work and help to modernise things we will also pay you for that.

? REQUIREMENTS

Extensive experience with Australian accounting standards

Proven expertise in Xero

Confidence handling BAS, GST, PAYG, and invoicing variations

Can start immediately and work independently

Must provide at least two references from Australian clients/companies

Trustworthy, accurate, detail-oriented

Already work as a freelance bookkeeper or part-time accountant

Understand the compliance side of Australian bookkeeping

Can work independently and meet time-sensitive tasks like pay runs and end-of-month invoices

Enjoy refining systems and adding value to your clients’ operations
