About the Role

Fan Page & Social Media Assistant

Position: Part-Time, Remote
Compensation: $500 CAD/month + Performance Bonuses
Hours: Approximately 15 hours/week
Trial Period:1 week

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, internet-savvy person to help run and grow a network of music fan pages.

The ideal candidate must understand internet culture and have a natural sense for what makes content funny, relatable, emotional, aesthetic, or shareable.

You should genuinely enjoy **K-dramas, anime, music edits, memes, music, and online fan culture.

The Goal

The main goal is to reach new listeners from different angles using the music.

Instead of simply posting the song and asking people to listen, we want to introduce the music through content people already enjoy.

This could include:

  • Memes
  • K-drama edits
  • Anime edits
  • Music edits
  • Relatable videos
  • Romantic/emotional content
  • Aesthetic content
  • Fan content
  • Creative uses of lyrics and song moments
  • Internet trends and formats

The goal is to make people discover the music naturally through content they already enjoy, and turn those viewers into new listeners and fans.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 5 fan accounts, each with a different content theme and identity
  • Post several times per day across the accounts
  • Create content specifically designed around the artist's music and audio
  • Find creative ways to use the songs in memes, edits, relatable content, and short-form videos
  • Create K-drama edits, anime edits, music edits, and other creative edits
  • Turn lyrics and specific moments from songs into shareable content
  • Repurpose existing music videos, performances, photos, interviews, and other content
  • Create simple edits, memes, clips, and fan-focused content
  • Engage with comments and interact with the fan community
  • Find and repost relevant fan-created content
  • Monitor other fan pages and artists for inspiration
  • Experiment with different content styles and formats
  • Track which types of posts perform best
  • Provide a simple weekly performance report
  • Develop new creative ideas for reaching potential listeners

The 5 Accounts

Each account should have its own personality and content strategy rather than simply reposting the same thing.

1. Memes & Relatable Content

Relationship memes, funny situations, relatable posts, lyrics, internet humor, and situations people can connect with.

2. K-Drama Edits

Romantic K-drama scenes, emotional moments, character edits, aesthetic clips, and other K-drama content paired with the music.

3. Anime Edits

Anime scenes, emotional moments, character relationships, cinematic clips, and creative anime edits using the music.

4. Aesthetic & Music Edits

Dreamy, cinematic, emotional, and visually appealing edits built specifically around the songs, lyrics, and overall aesthetic.

5. Fan & Discovery

Fan content, interesting artist moments, lyrics, clips, music discoveries, behind-the-scenes content, and more experimental content designed to introduce new people to the music.

The themes can evolve based on what performs best.

Requirements

Must have:

  • Strong understanding of internet culture
  • Very familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Strong understanding of memes and online humor
  • Genuine interest in K-dramas and anime
  • Enjoys making or watching edits
  • Understands online fan culture
  • Good sense of humor and creativity
  • Good instincts for what makes content shareable
  • Reliable and consistent
  • Good written English

Bonus:

  • Experience running fan pages
  • Experience growing social media accounts
  • Experience making music, anime, or K-drama edits
  • Familiarity with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar editing software
  • Experience with K-pop, K-drama, anime, music, or other online fandoms

What We're Looking For

We're not looking for someone who simply knows how to upload posts.

We want someone who can hear a song and immediately think of multiple ways it could be used online.

For example:

"This lyric would make a perfect K-drama edit."

"This part of the song would work as an anime edit."

"This could be a funny meme."

"This song fits this relationship scenario perfectly."

The goal is to constantly find new angles to introduce people to the music.

Success

Success isn't just about how many posts are uploaded.

We'll look at:

  • Views and reach
  • Shares and saves
  • Engagement
  • Follower growth
  • Fan-generated content
  • New listeners
  • Which accounts and content formats perform best
  • Whether the accounts are reaching audiences who wouldn't otherwise discover the music

Compensation & Schedule

$500 CAD/month

Approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility in when you work.

Performance Bonuses

There is also potential for **additional bonuses when content performs exceptionally well, particularly when posts reach significant view counts or generate meaningful engagement and new listeners.

The specific bonus structure can be discussed and agreed upon based on performance.

1-Week Trial

The first week will be a paid trial period for both sides to see if the role is a good fit.

During the trial, we'll look at the quality and consistency of the content, creativity, understanding of internet culture, communication, and overall fit for the role.

If the trial goes well, the position will continue at $500 CAD/month, with the opportunity to earn additional performance bonuses.

How to Apply

Please send:

1. A short introduction about yourself
2. Any fan pages or social media accounts you've managed
3. Examples of edits, TikToks, Reels, or Shorts you've created
4. Your favorite song from the artist
5. 3 fan-page content ideas using the music
6. Your availability and time zone

We're looking for someone who loves the internet, understands fan culture, loves memes, anime, K-dramas and edits, and can find creative ways to turn a song into content people want to share.
