The Role

I am looking for a hands-on full-stack developer and systems integrator who can turn clear business and architectural direction into finished, working systems.

I will lead the business discovery, operational strategy, priorities, and overall solution direction. You will be responsible for technical execution: understanding the objective, reviewing the existing code and data, proposing the best technical approach, building it, testing it, and documenting what was done.

This is not a virtual assistant role, a pure prompt-engineering role, or a position for someone who blindly accepts AI-generated code. You must understand development well enough to verify the work, catch incorrect assumptions, and take responsibility for the final result.

What You Will Do

• Build and improve full-stack web applications
• Turn requirements, notes, wireframes, and design references into clean, responsive interfaces
• Work with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, databases, and backend services
• Build and manage databases using PostgreSQL and Supabase
• Connect third-party platforms using APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and other integration methods
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar tools to work efficiently
• Debug and improve existing code without unnecessarily rebuilding everything
• Test features carefully and confirm that they work as intended
• Use Git and GitHub to manage changes
• Clearly document technical decisions, setup requirements, and completed work
• Communicate blockers, questions, tradeoffs, and progress directly

What I Am Looking For

• Proven experience building complete full-stack applications
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript and React experience
• Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, Supabase, or similar backend platforms
• Experience building API integrations and automated workflows
• Strong practical experience with AI-assisted development tools
• Good visual judgment and the ability to build clean, usable interfaces
• Ability to understand an existing codebase and work within established architecture
• Ability to independently solve implementation problems while following the agreed direction
• Clear written and spoken English
• Reliable communication and attention to detail

Paid Trial

The selected applicant will begin with a paid trial of approximately 20 or more hours using a real, clearly defined project. The rate and deliverable will be agreed upon before the trial begins. If we work well together and the quality is strong, there may be an opportunity for ongoing work with MAFU.
