Google Ads Assistant - Ecommerce

TDM Media is looking for a Google Ads Assistant to support the daily running of ecommerce PPC accounts.

This is not a general VA. You will work with Google Ads, Merchant Center, product feeds, reporting and Asana. You should be comfortable investigating an issue, gathering evidence and recommending a next steps

Responsibilities

• Complete daily Google Ads and Merchant Center checks.
• Monitor budget pacing and flag unusual performance changes.
• Investigate disapprovals and complete straightforward fixes.
• Check product feeds and maintain supplemental-feed sheets.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting data.
• Maintain Google Sheets and Data Studio reports.
• Manage recurring tasks, evidence and follow-ups in Asana.
• Complete first-pass search-term, keyword, asset and landing-page reviews.
• Escalate problems with screenshots, evidence and a proposed action.
• Carry out SQRs and add negatives appropriately in the accounts.

The role is approximately 65% PPC and Merchant Center, 20% reporting, 15% research, content or other support.

Senior staff will retain strategy, tracking work, client meetings and final approval of account changes.

You Should Have

• 1-3 years of ecommerce Google Ads experience.
• Practical Merchant Center and product-feed knowledge.
• Strong Google Sheets skills.
• Familiarity with GA4, Looker Studio and Asana.
• Clear written English, good judgement and reliable attention to detail.

Shopify and basic Google Tag Manager knowledge are useful but not essential.
