Altura is an email marketing agency managing Klaviyo for 50+ DTC e-commerce brands. We're rebuilding our design function from the ground up, you'll own it.

The role
You're the design owner, not a production hand. Your job: make Altura's email design a competitive advantage.

• Design campaign
• Build and maintain a modular design system: reusable blocks, per-client brand kits, templates that scale across 50 accounts
• Audit and upgrade existing client templates
• Define design QA standards so quality doesn't depend on who reviews
• Collaborate with account managers on briefs; push back when a brief will produce a bad email

Requirements

• 2+ years designing email s specifically (portfolio of real sent email s required — not concepts)
• You understand email constraints: 600px width, image-to-text ratio, mobile-first, what breaks in Outlook/Gmail
• Figma fluency; Klaviyo editor experience is a strong plus
• You know DTC e-commerce codes: what converts, what looks cheap
• English proficient

• Portfolio full of dribbble concepts never sent to a real list
• "I do branding, print, and email " — we want a specialist
