Video Editor – Long-Term Remote Position

Final Cut Pro Video Editor – Property TV Series

We are looking for a reliable video editor to work remotely on an international property television series.

Each segment runs for approximately four minutes and features two people walking through a home, exploring the property and discussing its design, features and lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

• Edit dialogue between the two presenters
• Create a clear and engaging story from the footage
• Select the strongest takes and reactions
• Use property footage and cutaways to cover edits
• Maintain natural pacing and conversation
• Add music and basic sound design
• Complete basic audio mixing and colour correction
• Make revisions based on producer feedback
• Keep Final Cut Pro libraries and project files organised

Requirements:

• Strong experience using Final Cut Pro
• A Mac capable of editing professional video footage
• Good English comprehension
• Strong storytelling, timing and pacing
• Ability to make conversations feel natural
• Excellent attention to continuity and detail
• Reliable high-speed internet
• Ability to follow briefs and producer notes
• Consistent communication and reliable turnaround times

Rate:

A$12 per hour

Approximately US$8.50 per hour

This is an ongoing remote position, with hours depending on our production schedule. Shortlisted applicants will be offered a paid editing test.
