About the Role

Lazywaist is looking for a highly curious and digitally savvy Social Intelligence & Community Executive to be our eyes and ears across social media and online communities.

Your role is to continuously understand what consumers are talking about, what is trending, what competitors are doing, which creators are gaining influence, and where new opportunities are emerging for the brand.

This is not primarily a content creation role.

You will help Lazywaist turn thousands of online conversations into useful insights that influence our content, marketing, partnerships, product development and overall brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities
1. Social & Trend Monitoring

Monitor relevant conversations daily across platforms including:

TikTok
Instagram

Facebook
Reddit
Lemon8
Xiaohongshu / RED

Telegram and other relevant communities
Forums and online groups

Identify:

Emerging trends
Viral content formats
Popular topics and questions
Consumer behaviours
New terminology and conversations
Potential content opportunities
Changes in sentiment or demand

Focus areas may include:

Shapewear • Postpartum • Pregnancy • Women's Wellness • Pilates • Fitness • Bridal • Fashion • Body Confidence • Recovery

2. Brand Listening

Track conversations and mentions relating to Lazywaist, including those where the brand is not tagged.

Identify:

Customer recommendations
Reviews and feedback
Complaints or concerns
Questions about Lazywaist products
Product comparisons
Purchase considerations
Frequently raised objections
Organic brand advocates

Important conversations should be escalated to the team quickly.

3. Community Intelligence

Join and monitor relevant online communities, forums and group discussions where participation is permitted.

Your responsibility is to understand:

What consumers are asking
Problems they are trying to solve
Products they are recommending
Products they dislike
What they wish existed
Common misconceptions
Purchase triggers
Price sensitivity
Competitor sentiment

Summarise recurring conversations into actionable consumer insights for the Lazywaist team.

4. Community Engagement

Participate in relevant discussions where appropriate and in accordance with each community's rules.

Engagement should always focus on:

Being helpful first. Building trust second. Selling last.

You may:

Answer relevant questions
Provide useful product/category knowledge
Clarify misinformation
Direct customers towards useful resources
Identify conversations where Lazywaist could genuinely help

You must never impersonate a customer or create fake recommendations for Lazywaist. Brand relationships should be disclosed where relevant.

5. Competitor Intelligence

Continuously monitor competitors and adjacent brands.

Track:

New product launches
Pricing and promotions
Best-selling products
Content strategies
Influencer collaborations
Advertising angles
Customer reviews
Customer complaints
Viral posts
Positioning and messaging
Community sentiment

Rather than simply reporting what competitors are doing, explain:

What happened ? Why it matters ? What Lazywaist can learn or do differently.

6. Creator & KOL Research

Identify emerging and established creators who could be relevant to Lazywaist.

Build and maintain a comprehensive creator database including:

Creator name
Social media handle
Platform
Country
Content category
Followers
Average views
Engagement quality
Audience relevance
Previous brand collaborations
Relevant personal/content milestones publicly shared
Contact information where publicly available for business purposes
Existing Lazywaist relationship
Collaboration status
Notes on content style
Recommended collaboration angle

Particular attention should be given to high-potential creators before they become highly commercialised.
