Ad Creative & Funnel Designer
Confidential employer
Must be reachable for live calls 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM PST, Monday–Friday. Remaining hours flexible.
About the Role:
Legal Calls is hiring a creative producer to build everything that surrounds our Facebook and Instagram
ad campaigns — the static image ads, the copy, the landing pages, and the funnels those ads point to.
To be clear about scope: you will not be running or managing the ad accounts. We handle media
buying, budgets, bidding, and day-to-day campaign monitoring in-house. Your job is to produce the assets
that make those campaigns work — and to produce a lot of them, quickly, at a high standard.
If you're a strong designer who also writes well, and you'd rather spend your day making things than sitting
in Ads Manager, this is the right fit.
What You'll Do:
1. Static Ad Creative:
-Design static image ads for Facebook and Instagram — feed, story, and reel-still formats, correctly sized and safe-zone aware
-Produce multiple distinct concepts per brief, not one design in five colorways
-Build out variation sets so the team has real options to test — different hooks, layouts, and visual angles
-Keep creative on-brand and appropriate in tone for a legal / professional audience
2. Copy
-Write the ad copy that goes with your designs: hooks, primary text, headlines, descriptions, CTAs
-Write landing page copy — headlines, subheads, body, bullets, form microcopy, CTA buttons
-Write follow-up email and SMS sequence copy for leads who come through the funnel
-Deliver copy in variation sets so there's something to test
3. Landing Pages & Funnels
-Design and build landing pages that match the ads pointing at them
-Build multi-step funnels: opt-in → qualification → booked call, including thank-you and confirmation pages
-Wire up forms, CRM handoff, and automated follow-up so leads land where they should
-Make sure pages are fast, mobile-first, and clean on every screen size
4. Working With the Team
-Take a brief (offer, audience, angle) and come back with a full creative set without a lot of back-and-forth
-Turn campaign feedback into the next round of creative — when the team says an angle is working, you build more in that direction
-Keep assets organized and named so anyone can find and launch them
What This Role is Not
-You are not the media buyer. No budget management, bidding, audience setup, or daily campaign monitoring.
-You are not responsible for campaign performance metrics. You're responsible for the quality, volume, and speed of the creative.
-You will not need to log into Ads Manager to manage spend — though you do need to understand
the platform well enough to design for it.
What You Need to Have
1. Design
-2+ years designing static ad creative, ideally for paid social
-Strong command of layout, hierarchy, typography, and spacing — your work looks professionally made, not templated
-Fluent in Figma, Photoshop, Canva Pro, or equivalent
-You can work from a brand kit and stay consistent across a large set of assets
2. Meta Ads Knowledge (Design-Side)
-You know Meta ad specs and formats cold: aspect ratios, safe zones, placement differences, text-onimage realities
-You understand what makes a static ad stop the scroll, and what Meta's ad policies will and won't allow — especially in legal and other sensitive categories
-You've seen enough campaign feedback to know the difference between creative that tests well and creative that just looks nice
3.Copywriting
-Native-level written English — this is non-negotiable. Awkward phrasing or translated-sounding copy will not work for this audience
-You can write a hook that earns attention without sounding hyped, clickbaity, or spammy. Legal is a trust-first market
-You can write short (ad copy) and long (landing page) with equal comfort
4. Landing Pages & Funnel Building
-You've built landing pages and funnels yourself in tools like GoHighLevel, Unbounce, Webflow, Framer, ClickFunnels, Leadpages, or WordPress / Elementor
-You understand conversion basics: above-the-fold clarity, form friction, proof and trust signals, mobile layout, page speed
-You can connect forms to a CRM and set up automated follow-up
5. Working With Claude
-You use Claude (or comparable AI tools) daily as part of how you work — generating copy variations, researching angles, drafting page HTML, summarizing feedback into briefs, QA-ing your own work
-You know the difference between AI output that's ready to ship and AI output that needs a human rewrite. We will ask about this.
-You build and refine your own prompts and workflows rather than pasting a request and hoping
6. General
-Available for live calls 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM PST on weekdays
-Fast turnaround without dropping quality — volume matters in this role
-Reliable communicator who flags problems early instead of going quiet
Nice to Have:
-Experience creating marketing assets for law firms, legal services, or other regulated industries
-Short-form video editing for ad creative (not required now, useful later)
-Basic HTML / CSS for page fixes
-Experience producing creative at volume against a weekly quota
How to Apply:
Send the following. Applications missing these will not be reviewed.
1. Portfolio — at least 6 static ads you designed, plus 2 landing pages you built. Live links or screenshots.
Tell us clearly which parts were yours (design, copy, build, or all three).
2. A writing sample — ad copy or landing page copy you wrote. Not a design mockup with placeholder
text.
3. Your stack — the design tool, page builder, and CRM / automation tools you use most.
4. A short Claude answer — in 3–5 sentences, describe one specific way you use Claude in your
creative work. Be concrete about the workflow, not general about AI.
5. Turnaround — how many finished static ad variations you can realistically produce in a week at 20–30
hours.
6. Start the subject line with "CREATIVE" so we know you read this.
Paid trial: Strong applicants will be paid for a small scoped project — typically one landing page plus a set
of ad variations from a single brief — before we move to an ongoing agreement.
