Virtual Operations Assistant / Dispatcher (Limousine & Black-Car) — Full-Time

Empire Black Truck is a fast-paced limousine and black-car transportation company. We're hiring an experienced Virtual Dispatcher to run our daily operations: claiming jobs, assigning drivers, monitoring live trips, and keeping every job and payment accurately tracked.

This is not an entry-level role. Jobs are posted in WhatsApp groups all day and can be taken by another company within seconds. You must stay focused, react fast, and make accurate decisions under pressure.

What You'll Do Claim jobs (fast)
Monitor multiple WhatsApp dispatcher groups and private chats throughout your shift
Before accepting a job, immediately check drivers' live locations, current assignments and upcoming schedules to confirm we can cover it
Accept profitable jobs quickly and accurately

Assign & confirm
Assign or pre-book the right driver based on location, vehicle, availability and profitability
Send complete trip information and confirm the driver received it
Prevent scheduling conflicts and double bookings
Verify driver and vehicle readiness before every assignment

Monitor every active trip
Know when the driver is on location, when the passenger is on board, and when the trip is completed
If a driver is late, unresponsive or has an issue: contact the driver immediately, notify the right person, and arrange backup coverage
Handle airport pickups and last-minute schedule changes calmly

Track everything in Google Sheets
Log every job: trip date/time, pickup and drop-off, passenger info, assigned driver, the company that provided the job, and the specific dispatcher who sent it
Record total job amount, driver pay, expected profit, payment terms, due date, and payment status (paid / pending / late)
Follow up on outstanding payments so nothing slips

Protect the business
Maintain strict confidentiality on customers, rates, company margins, driver compensation and all internal information

Who We're Looking For Required
Previous experience in limousine, black-car, taxi, NEMT, airport transportation, courier, food delivery or another fast-paced last-mile / live-passenger operation
Comfortable with live passenger transportation and jobs that must be claimed immediately
Strong written and verbal English
Excellent organization, multitasking and attention to detail
Sound judgment in a fast-paced environment; able to work independently and take initiative
Reliable high-speed internet, backup power/internet, and a working computer
Professional, dependable, trustworthy

Strongly preferred
Experience dispatching via WhatsApp
Experience tracking jobs and payments in Google Sheets
Familiarity with limo/black-car booking or CRM systems

Please note: experience limited to 3PL trucking, truckload scheduling or HVAC dispatch is generally not a fit for this role. Those industries operate very differently from limousine and taxi dispatch. Apply only if you have live passenger / last-mile dispatch experience.

Schedule & Compensation
Full-time, US Eastern Time hours
Approximately $5/hour, based on experience
