Reddit Community Marketing & AI Growth Specialist

About the Role

Great Speech is seeking an experienced Reddit Community Marketing & AI Growth Specialist to expand our organic digital presence and help more individuals and families discover our virtual speech therapy services.

We are looking for someone who already understands how to successfully market a healthcare or service-based organization through Reddit, online communities, search, and AI-driven marketing tools.

The ideal candidate understands Reddit culture and knows how to build authentic engagement without appearing promotional or spammy. You should also understand SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), AI search visibility, content marketing, and emerging AI marketing tools that can help Great Speech become more discoverable when consumers are searching for answers related to speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and speech therapy services.

Healthcare marketing experience is strongly preferred. You should understand the importance of accuracy, sensitivity, privacy, and credibility when representing a healthcare organization online.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute an organic Reddit marketing and community engagement strategy for Great Speech.
Identify relevant subreddits, conversations, questions, and communities where Great Speech's expertise can provide genuine value.
Monitor Reddit for discussions related to speech therapy, speech delays, stuttering, articulation, autism, ADHD, voice, aphasia, communication challenges, online therapy, insurance coverage, and related topics.
Participate authentically in relevant conversations while following subreddit rules and avoiding spam or overly promotional content.
Identify opportunities to appropriately increase awareness of Great Speech and its virtual speech therapy services.
Develop strategies for building account credibility, karma, community trust, and long-term engagement.
Research questions and topics consumers are actively searching for across Reddit, Google, AI search platforms, and other online communities.
Apply SEO and AEO strategies to improve Great Speech's visibility in traditional search engines and AI-generated answers.
Use AI marketing and research tools to identify content opportunities, consumer questions, trending topics, keywords, and emerging conversations.
Repurpose insights from Reddit and online communities into ideas for website content, FAQs, blogs, social media, and other marketing initiatives.
Identify opportunities for Great Speech content to be discovered and referenced by AI search and answer platforms.
Track engagement, referral traffic, leads, conversions, and other measurable results from Reddit and community marketing efforts.
Provide regular reporting on activities, opportunities, results, and recommended next steps.
Stay current on changes to Reddit, AI search, SEO/AEO, and emerging digital marketing tools and strategies.
Qualifications
Previous hands-on Reddit marketing or community growth experience is required.
Demonstrated understanding of Reddit culture, subreddit rules, karma, moderation, and organic community engagement.
Experience using Reddit strategically for brand awareness, lead generation, reputation building, or organic traffic.
Experience with SEO, AEO, content marketing, and AI-assisted marketing tools.
Ability to demonstrate previous campaigns, accounts, strategies, or measurable results.
Strong research and writing skills with excellent written English.
Ability to write naturally and conversationally rather than producing content that sounds automated or overly promotional.
Experience researching keywords, consumer questions, trends, and online conversations.
Comfortable working independently and proactively identifying new marketing opportunities.
Strong analytical skills and ability to measure and report results.
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, AI research tools, SEO platforms, or similar marketing technology is preferred.
Healthcare Experience

Healthcare, telehealth, therapy, behavioral health, or other healthcare marketing experience is strongly preferred.

Candidates should understand that healthcare marketing requires a higher level of sensitivity and accuracy than traditional consumer marketing. Content and engagement must protect patient privacy, avoid inappropriate medical claims, and represent Great Speech professionally and ethically.

Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare marketing considerations is a plus.

Understands how to communicate appropriately about sensitive healthcare topics.
Is curious, proactive, creative, and willing to test new approaches.
Schedule & Work Environment
Fully remote position.
Part ---------- contractor opportunity with the potential to expand based on results.
Must be able to communicate and collaborate with the Great Speech team during Eastern Time business hours.
Hours may be flexible, but consistent monitoring and engagement are expected.
