About the Role

TSGBH is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to support our behavioral health operations.

This position will help ensure that required documentation, employee files, client records, credentialing information, training requirements, and internal compliance processes are completed accurately and on time.

This is not simply an administrative assistant position. We need someone who can review records, identify missing or expired items, follow up with staff, maintain compliance trackers, and escalate concerns before they become larger problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review employee and contractor files for required documentation
  • Monitor expiration dates for licenses, credentials, certifications, trainings, and other required documents
  • Maintain compliance tracking spreadsheets and internal systems
  • Review client records for missing or incomplete documentation

  • Follow up with employees regarding missing or overdue compliance items
  • Track onboarding and annual compliance requirements
  • Assist with employee credentialing and recredentialing documentation
  • Assist with payer and provider enrollment documentation as assigned
  • Organize documents for internal and external audits
  • Conduct routine file audits using established checklists
  • Document compliance findings and corrective actions

  • Review records for consistency with company requirements
  • Report significant compliance concerns to management
  • Assist with corrective action follow-up
  • Protect confidential information and follow HIPAA requirements

What We Are Looking For

Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred:

  • Healthcare compliance
  • Behavioral health administration
  • Medical records
  • Credentialing
  • Human resources compliance
  • Quality assurance
  • Healthcare documentation
  • Medicaid provider operations
  • HIPAA-related administrative work

Experience working with a U.S. healthcare or behavioral health organization** is a major advantage.

Skills Needed

The successful candidate must be:

  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Highly organized
  • Comfortable reviewing large amounts of documentation
  • Able to identify missing, incomplete, or expired information
  • Comfortable following up repeatedly when required
  • Able to maintain accurate tracking systems
  • Able to meet deadlines without constant supervision
  • Comfortable communicating professionally with employees and management
  • Able to protect confidential information
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes
  • Strong in written English
  • Reliable and consistent with attendance

What Success Looks Like

We do not want someone who simply checks boxes.

We need someone who asks:

**What is missing?
What is expiring soon?
Who is responsible for correcting it?
Has the issue been resolved?
What creates a risk for the organization?
What needs to be escalated to management?**

The goal of this position is to help prevent compliance problems before they become audit findings, payment issues, employee credentialing problems, or operational risks.

Daily Compliance Expectations

The Compliance Specialist should maintain a clear record of:

  • Items reviewed
  • Deficiencies identified
  • Employees or departments contacted
  • Items corrected
  • Items still outstanding
  • Upcoming expiration dates
  • Issues requiring management attention

Every compliance issue should have a clear status and next action.

Compensation

Starting Pay: $3.50 USD per hour

This is intended to be a long-term position for the right candidate.

Employees who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, accuracy, independent problem-solving, and the ability to manage compliance responsibilities with limited supervision may be considered for future compensation reviews and expanded responsibilities.

Schedule

Candidates must be available to work during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Reliable internet, a dependable computer, and a quiet professional workspace are required.

How to Apply

Please include the following with your application:

1. A brief introduction about yourself.
2. Describe any experience you have with healthcare, compliance, credentialing, medical records, or quality assurance.
3. Have you previously worked for a U.S.-based healthcare company?
4. What systems or software have you used?
5. Describe how you would manage 50 employees with certifications and licenses that expire on different dates.
6. If you discovered that an employee's required credential expired two weeks ago, what steps would you take?
7. Describe how you stay organized when managing multiple deadlines.
8. Confirm that you are available to work during U.S. Eastern Time.

Applications that do not answer the questions above will not be prioritized.

Important

This position requires someone who is comfortable holding others accountable for completing required documentation.

You must be willing to follow up, document your efforts, identify risks, and escalate unresolved issues when necessary.

We are looking for someone who can become a dependable part of our compliance and administrative infrastructure—not someone who simply completes assigned tasks.
