About the Opportunity

We are a growing multidiscipline engineering firm seeking talented and motivated engineers to join our team. We are looking for professionals with experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Plumbing (MEP) design who can support a variety of building and construction projects throughout the United States.

This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while working on diverse U.S.-based projects.

Positions / Disciplines

We are interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Mechanical Engineering – HVAC system design, equipment selection, load calculations, ventilation, and related building systems
Electrical Engineering – Power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, electrical calculations, equipment layouts, and related systems
Plumbing Engineering – Domestic water, sanitary, storm drainage, natural gas, and related plumbing systems
Fire Protection experience is a plus

Candidates do not need to have experience in all three disciplines. Engineers specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or a combination of disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
Prepare MEP engineering designs and construction documents for U.S.-based projects
Perform engineering calculations and equipment selections
Develop plans, details, schedules, and specifications
Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, civil, and other engineering disciplines
Review architectural backgrounds and project requirements to identify design needs
Participate in project coordination and design review meetings
Respond to design comments and revise construction documents as required
Support projects from conceptual design through construction documentation
Follow applicable U.S. building codes, standards, and client requirements
Maintain project schedules and deliver high-quality work within established deadlines
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Experience designing building systems for projects in the United States
Working knowledge of applicable U.S. codes and standards
Experience producing professional construction documents
Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Experience
AutoCAD and/or Revit
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Commercial, residential, multifamily, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, institutional, or mixed-use projects
Energy-code compliance and engineering calculations
Coordination with architects, contractors, owners, and other consultants
Experience working remotely with U.S.-based engineering or architectural firms
