WordPress Developer to clean up an infected WordPress site, remove malware, implement security measures, and update the Newspaper Divi theme to the latest version.
Responsibilities:
-Malware Removal: Scan and clean the WordPress site, including the database, from any injected malware.
-Security Implementation: Apply security best practices (e.g., securing .htaccess, implementing SSL, and using security plugins like Wordfence).
Prevent Future Hacks: Identify vulnerabilities, set up monitoring, and educate on securing WordPress sites.
-Update Theme & Plugins: Update the Newspaper Divi theme to the latest version while preserving customizations.
-Testing: Test the site for performance, functionality, and security post-cleanup and update.
Requirements:
-with experience in malware removal and WordPress security.
-Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
-Experience with security plugins (e.g., Wordfence, iThemes Security).
-Ability to update and troubleshoot custom WordPress themes.
-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
-Proficient in identifying and resolving potential malware issues, with a strong understanding of shell scripts and the ability to interpret and address malware scripts.
-Experienced in restoring WordPress sites and performing core updates and fixes.
-Knowledgeable in handling and mitigating issues related to malware attacks.
