Social Media Manager (Personal Brand Growth)

Activation Agents helps founders license a complete, done-for-you AI business model, combining infrastructure, coaching, and client acquisition systems so operators can launch and scale a profitable AI-powered agency. The brand runs on a waitlist-driven growth model, with the founder's personal brand at the center of it and a content engine built around case studies, client wins, and educational content.

We're hiring a Social Media Manager to own that presence and grow it. This is not a generalist digital marketing role.

The Role

Right now the founder's social presence is small, inconsistent, and does not yet carry the authority it should in the market. Your job is to fix all three.

Specifically, you'll be responsible for taking the account from a few hundred followers to a few thousand engaged, relevant followers, building genuine credibility in the AI and agency space, and moving posting from sporadic to consistent and reliable.

You'll work directly from the founder's raw material: calls, videos, client wins, frameworks, testimonials. You turn that into platform-native content that sounds like him, not like a marketing department.

What You'll Own

Personal brand growth

Own follower growth, engagement, and reach as your primary success metrics
Build and run a content strategy that establishes the founder as a credible voice in the AI agency space
Set and hold a consistent posting cadence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
Study what performs, kill what doesn't, and adjust weekly rather than quarterly

Content production and repurposing

Turn long-form founder content into short-form posts, carousels, clips, and hooks
Nail and protect the brand voice across every format
Use AI tools to scale output without the content sounding generated
Manage the content calendar end to end so the founder is not chasing you for it

Community and engagement

Actively engage: comments, DMs, replies, relevant conversations in the niche
Build relationships with adjacent creators and accounts to expand reach

Secondary: email and waitlist support

Keep waitlist leads warm with email campaigns and nurture sequences
Basic segmentation and performance tracking (opens, clicks, calls booked)

What We're Looking For

The main thing: you have already done this jump before. You have personally taken an account from a small following to a few thousand or more, and you can show us the account, the timeframe, and the numbers.

Direct experience growing a founder's or personal brand's social presence, not just managing corporate accounts on maintenance mode
Demonstrable results you can point to, with specific handles, before and after metrics, and a clear explanation of what you actually did
Strong instinct for short-form content: hooks, pacing, formats, what makes people stop scrolling
Excellent writing and the ability to disappear into someone else's voice
Daily AI fluency for repurposing, drafting, and speeding up production
Self-directed. You'll own this function largely on your own and set your own weekly priorities
Some email marketing capability (sequences, lists, basic reporting)

Nice to Have

Experience in the AI, coaching, info-product, or agency/licensing space
Video editing or basic design skills
Familiarity with an ESP/CRM (ConvertKit, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, GoHighLevel)
Light automation experience (Zapier, Make, n8n)

Not a Fit If

Your experience is strategy decks and audits rather than hands-on posting and growing
You've managed social for brands that were already big, so growth wasn't the challenge
You describe what you would do but can't show what you have done
