VA Estimator (Plumbing) – Remote, AU Client, PHT Hours
Confidential employer
About the Company
Plumbing Bros is an Australian plumbing company built around professionalism, reliability, and 5-star
customer service. Founded in Perth in 2017, the business has grown from its Perth roots into an
established national plumbing brand.
Plumbing Bros Perth provides plumbing maintenance, repairs, drainage, hot water, gas, and general
plumbing services to residential and commercial clients across the Perth metropolitan area.
Our Perth operations team works closely with plumbers in the field to ensure jobs are assessed, quoted,
scheduled, and delivered accurately and professionally. We are supported by an established team of
Philippines-based remote contractors who work closely with our Australian team and are provided with
clear systems, training, and ongoing support.
We’re now looking for a remote Maintenance Estimator based in the Philippines to become a long-term
member of the Plumbing Bros Perth team.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Estimator for Plumbing Bros Perth, you’ll be an important part of the team responsible
for turning information from our field and operations teams into clear, practical plumbing maintenance
quotes for our clients.
This is not large-scale construction or project estimating. The role is focused on reactive and planned
plumbing maintenance, where jobs can vary significantly in scope and require sound judgement to
determine the most appropriate repair or replacement solution.
You’ll work within an established quoting process while also contributing to improvements in how we
prepare, review, and manage quotes. The role suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, working
through technical information, and taking ownership of their work from initial assessment through to a
quote that is ready for client issue.
Work hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PHT, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break. These hours are aligned
with Perth time.
Key Responsibilities
- Quote Preparation: Review job notes, photos, video recordings, previous attendance information
and other supporting documentation to prepare accurate plumbing maintenance quotes using
our job management and quoting systems.
- Scope Development: Interpret field information and develop clear scopes of work, including
appropriate inclusions, exclusions and quote notes.
- Validation & Accuracy Checks: Cross-check each quote for completeness, correct pricing, and
inclusion/exclusion accuracy before submission.
- Quote Turnaround: Manage workload efficiently to meet daily and weekly quoting requirements
while maintaining attention to detail.
- Data and System Management: Maintain accurate records within the quoting platform, including
job details, pricing, notes, attachments and quote information.
- Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with schedulers, suppliers, and on-site teams to
clarify details, confirm materials, and support smooth job rollout.
- Client Queries & Quote Support: Respond to client queries relating to quotes, including clarifying
scope, inclusions, exclusions, pricing, and proposed works. Liaise with the estimating, operations,
or field teams where further technical confirmation is required, and ensure clients receive clear,
accurate, and professional responses.
- Follow-Up Support: Assist with quote follow-ups when required to ensure timely client responses
and maximise conversion rates.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring data or quoting issues and suggest improvements to
streamline accuracy and efficiency, including the development and refinement of AI-assisted
quoting tools and workflows where appropriate.

- Familiarity with AI tools, including basic knowledge of creating and refining custom GPTs or similar
AI-assisted workflows to improve quoting efficiency and consistency.
- A proactive, dependable work ethic and confidence working both independently and as part of a
remote team.
- Basic plumbing knowledge is required, including a practical understanding of common plumbing
fixtures, fittings, pipework, and maintenance terminology. Previous plumbing estimating
experience is an advantage, but not essential.
