Product Sourcing & Private Label Specialist – Bridal / E-commerce

About the Role

We are an Australian bridal brand, SEREINE, currently developing a premium Wedding Morning Collection featuring beautifully personalised gift sets for brides and bridal parties.

We are looking for an experienced Product Sourcing & Private Label Specialist to help us source high-quality products from China at competitive prices and establish reliable long-term supplier relationships.

This will initially be a paid project/trial, with the opportunity for ongoing work as the brand grows.

What We Need Help With

You will be responsible for:

Finding reliable manufacturers and suppliers through Alibaba, 1688 and direct Chinese manufacturers
Sourcing premium bridal products including satin robes, fluffy slippers, headbands, sashes, cosmetic bags, champagne glasses, shot glasses, jewellery cases, bridal lingerie, garters, gift boxes and accessories
Finding suppliers capable of custom SEREINE branding and private labelling
Negotiating pricing and low MOQs
Negotiating sample pricing
Obtaining colour charts, size charts and product catalogues
Investigating personalised embroidery/printing of individual customer names
Finding suppliers who can provide custom luxury packaging
Investigating private-label dropshipping/direct-to-customer fulfilment to Australia
Finding options to consolidate products from several manufacturers into one finished gift box
Comparing standard and express freight to Australia
Arranging and coordinating product samples
Assisting with quality-control processes
Communicating directly with Chinese suppliers/manufacturers
Maintaining an organised supplier and pricing spreadsheet
Ideal Experience

We would particularly like someone with experience in:

Alibaba and 1688 sourcing
Chinese manufacturer/factory sourcing
Supplier negotiation
Private-label products
Custom packaging
E-commerce or Shopify brands
Dropshipping/fulfilment
Freight and product consolidation
Bridal, fashion, beauty or gifting products
Quality-control/sample management
Mandarin language skills would be a major advantage.

Initial Project

For the first project, we would like you to source 3–5 strong supplier/fulfilment options for our SEREINE Wedding Morning Collection.

For each option, we would like to see:

Product pricing
MOQ
Sample cost
Custom logo cost
Personalisation/embroidery cost
Packaging options
Available colours and sizes
Production time
Shipping options to Brisbane, Australia
Dropshipping/fulfilment capability
Supplier/factory background
Your assessment of the supplier’s quality and reliability
We are not simply looking for the cheapest products.

Our priority is beautiful quality, premium presentation, competitive pricing and suppliers that we can develop a long-term relationship with.
