Collections Agent

Job Overview:
The Collections Agent is responsible for managing past-due PadSplit member accounts, helping members get back on track through clear, respectful communication and structured payment plans. This role is key to protecting PIN's revenue and occupancy by resolving delinquent accounts before they escalate. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable with direct phone conversations around money, and confident following a process while knowing when to bring in additional support.

Role Responsibilities:

• Call PadSplit members who are past due on their account to remind them of outstanding payments
• Work with members to set up payment plans using PIN's predetermined payment plan template
• Log all collections activity, call outcomes, and payment plan details in Zoho CRM
• Track past-due accounts and follow-up schedules in Google Sheets
• Escalate accounts to the appropriate Community Manager when a member is unresponsive, uncooperative, or requires further assistance beyond standard collections steps
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of member communication and payment status

• Follow up consistently on payment plans to confirm members stay current
• Communicate professionally and firmly while maintaining a respectful, member-first tone
• Flag recurring or high-risk delinquency patterns to leadership as needed
• Support ad hoc collections-related tasks as assigned

Skills Needed:

• Strong verbal communication skills, especially over the phone, Required
• Comfortable having direct conversations about overdue payments, Required
• Proficiency with Google Sheets, Required
• Ability to learn and use Zoho CRM for logging and tracking, Required
• Highly organized with strong follow-up habits, Required
• Ability to work independently and know when to escalate, Required
• Familiarity with collections processes, Preferred
• Familiarity with PadSplit, Preferred

Compensation:

• $5 - $10 USD Per Hour depending on Experience
• Full Time Position (40 hrs/week)
• Remote Position
