We are looking for a highly organized, tech-comfortable Digital Operations & Business Launch Assistant to help launch, manage, and grow multiple business projects.

This is not a traditional virtual assistant role focused only on calendars and email . We need someone who is comfortable taking a business idea or project and helping turn it into something operational—websites launched, products uploaded, payment systems connected, contractors managed, marketing tasks completed, and deadlines followed through.

The ideal person is resourceful, comfortable with technology and AI, able to learn new platforms quickly, and does not need step-by-step instructions for every task.

What You'll Help With

Website & E-Commerce

• Build, update, and maintain basic business websites and landing pages.
• Set up digital products and online storefronts.
• Upload products, descriptions, pricing, images, and downloadable files.
• Help configure platforms such as Shopify, Payhip, Etsy, WordPress, or similar systems.
• Connect and test Stripe, PayPal, checkout systems, email forms, and other integrations.
• Test websites, links, forms, downloads, and checkout processes before launch.
• Coordinate with developers when advanced technical work is required.

Project & Contractor Management

• Work directly with freelancers and contractors from platforms such as Fiverr and Upwork.
• Communicate project requirements clearly.
• Track deadlines, deliverables, revisions, and payments.
• Compare contractor quotes and make recommendations.
• Follow up with contractors so projects continue moving without constant owner involvement.
• Maintain an organized project tracker showing what is completed, pending, delayed, or needs approval.

Marketing & Digital Products

• Upload and organize digital products such as workbooks, printables, courses, guides, and downloadable resources.
• Create or edit basic marketing graphics using Canva.
• Prepare product listings for Etsy, Payhip, Shopify, Teachers Pay Teachers, and similar platforms.
• Schedule social media and Pinterest content.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns.
• Conduct basic keyword and competitor research.
• Help repurpose existing content into additional products, bundles, social media posts, and marketing materials.
• Track basic website, product, and marketing performance.

AI & Technology

You should be comfortable using—or willing to quickly learn—tools such as:

• ChatGPT
• Claude
• Canva
• Shopify
• Payhip
• Etsy
• WordPress
• Stripe
• PayPal
• Pinterest
• Meta Business Suite
• Google Workspace
• Microsoft 365
• Zapier or Make
• Email marketing platforms
• Project-management software
• AI-based content, marketing, research, and productivity tools

You do not need to be an expert in every platform. However, you should be someone who enjoys technology and can usually figure out how a new tool works.

• Can manage several projects at the same time.
• Is comfortable communicating with outside contractors.
• Has strong attention to detail.
• Can identify problems before a website, product, or campaign goes live.
• Understands basic digital marketing.
• Can use AI tools effectively while still reviewing work for accuracy and quality.
• Is dependable with deadlines and follow-up.
• Can maintain confidentiality when working with business information and systems.

Hours & Compensation

• Approximately 20 hours per week to start
• Remote position
• Flexible schedule, but dependable communication and deadline management are required
• $8-$12 USD per hour, depending on skills and experience
• Opportunity to increase hours and responsibility as the businesses grow

Important

You may help configure payment systems such as Stripe or PayPal, but ownership, banking information, primary account credentials, and final financial authorization will remain with the business owner.
