Short-Form Gaming Content Creator / Video Editor – Plix.gg

Plix.gg is a browser games portal with 72,000+ games and 180K+ monthly
visitors. We're hiring one person to own our short-form video output
end to end: find the games, record them, write the hooks, cut the
videos, post them.

This is NOT an editing-only role. We do not send you footage. If you
only want to edit clips someone else planned, this isn't your job.

Look at CrazyGames on TikTok or similar gaming ones.

WHAT YOU DO

• Dig through our catalogue and find games worth a video
• Record gameplay yourself (clean screen capture, 1080x1920)
• Write your own hooks and concepts — you are the ideas person
• Edit 10-40 second videos: fast cuts, music, captions, sound design
• Test alternative opening hooks and tell us what worked

Anything that works goes: gameplay, memes, challenges, reactions,
listicles, POV. We don't have a template and we don't want one.

OUTPUT
15 finished videos per week.
Each one gets posted to TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
5 videos per week ship with a second opening hook for A/B testing.

We measure retention and views, not file count. Tell us when a concept
is weak instead of shipping it to hit a number.

HOURS
We don't care when you work. No fixed schedule, no timezone overlap,
no clocking in. Everything is scheduled in advance, so nobody needs
to be awake at upload time.

VOICE AND AI
You do not need to appear on camera or use your own voice (but you are open to do so).

• AI voiceover: allowed and encouraged
• AI captions and script assistance: fine
• AI-generated B-roll, stock slideshows, or the same template repeated

across dozens of uploads: not allowed

SETUP YOU NEED

• A PC that runs browser games smoothly and records at 1080p
• CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve — your choice, we don't care
• You'll deliver project files alongside exports

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong short-form editing, with work to show
• You genuinely understand hooks and first-3-second retention
• You play games and can tell when one is actually interesting
• You can work independently. We give feedback weekly, not hourly.

PAY
$900/month (approx 55,000 PHP), paid monthly via Wise.

HOW TO APPLY

1. 3-5 short-form videos you edited. Say exactly what you did on each
— did you shoot it, write it, or just cut it?

2. Your editing software

3. THREE video ideas for Plix.gg. Each one must name a specific game
with its plix.gg URL, plus the exact opening line you would say.
This is the part we actually judge you on.

4. How do you keep someone watching past the first 3 seconds? Be
specific, how you pick and cut to music, what you do with
transitions, zooms, sound effects, text timing. Don't list
buzzwords, tell us what you actually do.

5. Your PC specs and internet speed

Shortlisted applicants get a paid trial video: 1,000 PHP, paid whether
or not we hire you. We run several trials at the same time.
