Short-Form Video Editor for Personal Brand Content

We work with founders who build their audience on camera. We are looking for a Short-Form Video Editor who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping TikToks, Reels and Shorts that hold attention to the last second.

This is founder content, not product ads. The founder is the story. That means talking-head clips one day and a lifestyle cut the next: travel, office, city, behind the scenes, day-in-the-life. Same job either way - make people stay.

What you will do:

• Edit 20-30 short-form videos per week across both brands
• Cut long-form footage (podcasts, lives, vlogs, phone recordings) into standalone clips that work on their own
• Build lifestyle and B-roll edits from raw daily footage: travel, office, events, behind the scenes
• Build hooks that land in the first 1-2 seconds and hold retention throughout
• Add captions, text overlays, b-roll, music and sound design, and native TikTok pacing
• Keep each founder's voice and look consistent across every clip

Requirements:

• Proven experience editing short-form content, both talking-head and lifestyle or B-roll driven (portfolio required)
• CapCut Pro or Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
• Strong instinct for retention editing: pacing, cuts, pattern interrupts
• A feel for music: cutting to the beat and picking sound that carries a lifestyle clip
• Excellent English so captions and hook text are always correct
• Reliable communication and fast turnaround
• Comfortable taking feedback and iterating quickly
