Freelance Video Editor – UGC & Reels (Hourly, Long-Term)

About the role:
I'm looking for a fast, detail-oriented video editor to support my content on an ongoing weekly basis. The primary focus is editing Reels for my UGC coaching Instagram account ugcsvenia (educational/coaching content for aspiring UGC creators), with additional UGC brand videos and personal brand Reels as needed. This is a long-term, recurring role for the right person.

What you'll be doing:

Primary: UGC Coaching Content

Edit short-form Reels (30–60 sec) for my UGC coaching Instagram account
I'll provide raw footage, scripts/talking points, voiceover if needed and reference videos for each

Additional (as needed):

Edit UGC videos for brand clients based on briefings I provide (hooks, brand guidelines, examples)
Occasional Reels for my personal brand account, same style

What I need from you:

Strong portfolio of short-form vertical video editing (UGC, Reels, or talking-head/educational content)
Experience editing to a brief/style reference, not just personal creative freedom
Fast, efficient turnaround without sacrificing quality
Proficiency in CapCut (or similar)
Reliable communication, able to meet weekly deadlines

Compensation: Hourly rate, $6–8/hour DOE (depending on experience)
