Video Editor (YouTube – Star Wars Lore Content)

Editing Software Requirements:

• DaVinci Resolve (preferred)
• Adobe Premiere Pro (also acceptable)

Content Overview:
We create long-form Star Wars lore videos that dive deep into characters, timelines, and theories within the universe. Videos are narrative-driven and rely heavily on strong visual storytelling to complement voiceovers.

Average Video Length:
Approximately 30–40 minutes per video

Experience Requirements:

• Prior knowledge of Star Wars is *not* required (though it’s a plus)
• Proven experience editing long-form YouTube content
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention
• Ability to work with voiceover-driven content

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit 30–40 minute lore videos from provided scripts and voiceovers
• Synchronize visuals closely with narration to maintain engagement
• Source and incorporate relevant visuals (film clips, gameplay footage, etc.)
• Generate AI-based artwork when necessary (all associated costs covered after hiring)
• Add background music, sound effects, and subtle motion elements
• Ensure clean, polished final exports that are ready for upload

Additional Notes:

• Attention to detail and consistency is important
• Creative input is encouraged—editors have room to enhance storytelling
• Reliable turnaround times are expected

We are looking to onboard multiple editors (approximately 5–10) to support ongoing content production.
