About the Role

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

We are looking for an experienced Amazon Account Manager / Marketplace Growth Manager to take ownership of our Amazon Australia business.

This is NOT a general Virtual Assistant or data-entry position.

We need someone who understands Amazon commercially and can analyse our account, identify why products are not selling and recommend and implement actions to grow sales and improve stock sell-through.

Amazon Vendor Central experience is highly important for this role.

If your experience is only uploading listings or performing basic Amazon administration, this role is probably not suitable.

About Us

We are an established Australian importer and distributor of leading toy, hobby and consumer brands.

We supply major Australian retailers as well as Amazon Australia and carry a large range of products across multiple international brands.

We are looking for someone to become the Amazon specialist within our business and work closely with our management and sales team in Australia.

What You Will Be Responsible For

You will take day-to-day ownership of improving our Amazon performance.

This will include:

Analyse sales performance by SKU / ASIN
Review products that are not selling and determine why
Develop strategies to improve stock sell-through
Analyse traffic, sessions, conversion and sales performance
Review Amazon retail pricing and competitor pricing
Identify opportunities to improve product ranging
Improve product titles, descriptions, keywords and search optimisation
Coordinate and improve product images and A+ Content
Manage and optimise Amazon Advertising / PPC
Monitor ACOS, ROAS and advertising profitability
Recommend promotions, deals and pricing strategies
Identify products that should be performing better
Help launch new products onto Amazon
Resolve catalogue, listing and Amazon support issues
Monitor inventory, availability and replenishment
Review competitor products and market activity
Build simple reporting showing what is working and what needs attention

We do not want someone who simply waits for us to provide tasks.

We want someone who will proactively tell us:

“Here is the problem, here is why I believe it is happening, and here is what I recommend we do about it.”

Required Experience

You should have:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on Amazon experience
Experience managing Amazon accounts commercially
Amazon Vendor Central experience
Seller Central experience is also valuable
Strong Amazon PPC / Advertising experience
Experience analysing sales and conversion data
Experience improving listings and organic search performance
Experience with A+ Content
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently
A proactive and commercial mindset

Experience working with consumer products, toys, hobbies, electronics or branded products would be an advantage.

Working Hours

Approximately 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Hours can have some flexibility, but you must be available for regular meetings and have some working-hour overlap with our team in Melbourne, Australia.

This is intended to become a long-term position for the right person.

There may also be an opportunity to increase the hours and responsibilities as the role develops.

Salary

USD $8–$12 per hour depending on experience and demonstrated Amazon capability.

We are prepared to pay towards the higher end of the range for someone who can demonstrate strong Amazon results and genuine Vendor Central experience.
